Zara Marielle is an adult contemporary fantasy author who spent part of her childhood in a hippy town in Northern California, and the other part in a tiny village high in the French Alps.

A lifelong traveler, Zara has also lived in Venezuela, Canada, and England. In 2015, she earned her Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh. When she’s not writing, she spends her time teaching and performing improv, traveling, and hugging large dogs.

Her upcoming adult contemporary fantasy, THE CAFE OF INFINITE DOORS, is an empowering portal fantasy with a braided narrative, about a trapped young housewife who secretly takes a job at a magical cafe, and finds herself entangled in a dangerous ancient rivalry between two supernatural Scottish sisters.

THE CAFE OF INFINITE DOORS will be released in Spring of 2026 by Union Square & Co, an imprint of Hachette.
